Artist Statement
I'm interested in the camera's role as a tool to collect the visual. It's inherent mechanical approach to a subject is managed by the photographer, me. As I see it I can order, resize, make again, re-order, re-frame (etc.) the image how I see fit. Then the viewer brings their perspective to the image, their vision of what it is, or what it is suppose to be.
I see the forms in these works as no more than light, time, line and form-- Collected and organized.
